When I was five years old, I wanted to be a librarian. Those who know me personally know this job would be a serious challenge for me – I don’t do quiet very well. And while I do enjoy reading, I’m more likely to start a dance party with complete strangers, than sit still for the length of time needed to finish a book from cover to cover. So, why on Earth did I dream of being a librarian, you ask. Because I like to help people.

I was raised as an only child by a single mother. From a young age, I learned the importance of helping those around me, working hard, laughing harder, and doing everything from a place of love. By day, I am employed as a HR Manager. By night, I can be found enjoying a night on the town with friends, or just as happy to be curled up on the couch watching movies with my husband and our adorable puppy, Lola. I’ll be honest, and tell you that I have been knocked down a few times by challenges life. With a helping hand, tears, laughter and love from some really good people, I have been able to get back up, dust off and keep going.

So, with my plate already pretty full, how did I come to join Younique? One night my husband had run out with a friend.  I was a little bored, so I started perusing social media looking for this “magic mascara” I had tried and I needed to re-order. I tracked down a local Younique Presenter, and me being me, I called her at 9:30 at night. We had a great conversation, instantly created a lasting friendship, and I placed an order for some fantastic new makeup. One more thing happened that night, I found a new adventure where I could use my passion for helping and meeting new people, through Younique and The Glam Dollz
